LOL, Lingen discovering fast food restaurants have no alcohol. 😀
Still, now we have better information on Behryn’s situation. Many of us had already deduced he was a traitor, but now we have his motives, which as it turns out are not exactly evil ones. He was just desperate for his people.
Maybe the Lady should teach Lingen why she left long ago the Mallean order and why she told him earlier about needing to observe the observers to keep balance.
To be fair, we had motives a LONG time ago, back in the park. The question is, is he actually a traitor? While most of us prolly predicted Lingen was staying because of his apprentice, we need to remember, this is the same order than wants to kill Meeka because he learned too much. Who is to say the Lady won’t pass a different judgement on him?
He knew about the motives, but so far we had no clue he’d be ready to betray his order to get them. Now we do.
And you have a very good point, LTK. That’s why i mentionned the Lady probably teaching Lingen how to better keep balance and justice, like she already mentionned him.
It just struck me — I wonder if there’s any relation between this Mallean Order and the Medieval witch-hunting treatise “Malleus Maleficarum” ?
(Apologies if this has been brought up previously.)
