That gun is gonna take her hands off holding it that way.
I was going to point out the same thing that Proto wrote. The rifle butt shoud be on her shoulder.

She isn’t holding that weapon even approximately correctly. “Hurt like a mother” is going to work both ways if she pulls that trigger without properly placing the stock.
hmmm… not only was the leader demon smart enough to take measure of our heroes before acting, he came equipped with a range weapon.
too bad he didn’t foresee a new enemy entering the mix.
well, if that rifle fires a light beam or any other energy, it’s unlikely to have a recoil.
if it fires a projectile, our new heroine is in for some pain, herself.
Everyone. Let’s remember this heroine’s been “modified.” She may well have the necessary super-human strength and hand-eye coordination to deal with that gun in that position without breaking her hands. As to the pain, well yeah, improper support against recoil will still hurt.
oh, forgot that.
If you want to get technical… using a silencer would indicate submachine gun using subsonic ammunition (although it’s still somewhat useful if not) and assault rifles don’t have all that much kick anyway.
Does look like it’s really close to her face and it’s lacking any sights I can see, so I guess it’s because the artist doesn’t really like guns enough to know them?
Okay that is weird, the last panel is messed up. She is facing one way, looking another and pointing her gun at some point in between. The art team usually does a way better job than that kind of slip up.
Sent JK a tweet – minor nit re: last 3 panels of p76. Love the story & artwork: kudos all ’round. If you can, let me know if my “nit” & suggestion were helpful or simply irritating – definitely would prefer former to latter.
Keep up the gr8 work, and thanks!
