That would be “masseur”… unless there was shapeshifting or other gender changing involved.
And, uhm, ah, I’m no sword expert, but a “prepared cane” wouldn’t have much of a curve, n’mind a hand guard, or it’d give the secret away. The policital stuff I’ll not comment on.
By the way, out of curiosity… did anyone realize, at the start of this sequence, that it’s the first time in the series our Lady and the MC have shared a scene?
@pendant It’s not a “prepared cane”, it’s a sword with a plain bamboo sheath. there were plenty of swords that favored simplicity and quality over ornamental design.
@J.K. I didn’t realize this was their first scene together, but It’s interesting watching how familiar they are with each other. It’s interesting that M.C. who has behaved as top dog for the entire comic suddenly defer to Lady a superior when the Nemiski have forgotten her. It’s even more interesting that she knows his real name. did she by chance have anything to do with his vamirism?

Regarding “masseur”… I stand corrected.
Regarding the cane sword, I believe I have seen some curved ones… and the hand guard could have been a later addition, could it not?

Indeed, but since they’ve referenced each other it was only a matter of time, i guess.
Still, what surprised me the most is Adreus’s vassal-like behaviour, most notably in the panel with the hand kiss.

Lady knows everything Jen knows, so no surprise that she knows his name.
