I love it when she shows up others of her realm!
Okay, when someone pickpockets your broadsword, it’s time to find a new line of work.
She’s back. 🙂
O.o Ooookay How the heck did she pull that off?! I mean Holy crap she snatched a freaking sword without even being noticed! Man if only they could see her true self.
I have a feeling they would be ALOT more respectful if not cowering in their boots if they knew just WHO and WHAT they were dealing with.
Don’t forget in Skyrim you can pickpocket people’s hearts. Way creepier than pickpocketing a broadsword out of a bag of holding.
@fireshot: Remember, the Lady can move very, very fast. It took Belahm a bit of work to figure out how she seemed to move without moving; and Belahm was exceptional.
Albert : then again, you’re talking about subrealm speed, right ? Subrealm being the realm of the mind, it has none of the physical rules that apply to Senserealm. Thus, even if she were at her peack (and she’s not), no way she could move Jen’s body as fast as she could move her soul against Belahm. However, she’s still a master stalker and grandmaster martial artist. With those 2 skills combined, she could have sneaked in, stole Bahryn’s broadsword, sneaked out then come to meet the boy as if nothing had happenned. 🙂
Whatever they think, these guys are woefully undertrained if they didn’t react to the phrase “I am … a lady … nameless…” with at least a moment’s pause. Either they don’t know their history, or they’re being _extremely_ closed-minded in not expecting to find her on this plane, or they’re not paying attention. Definitely not up to Nemisiki standards.
The Lady has demonstrated some near-supernatural agility even when limited by Jen’s body. But, yeah, I suspect this is a matter of misdirection and, essentially, pickpocketing facilitated by that, rather than significantly exceeding the human body’s speed limitations.
(Remember that these guys, too, have shown exceptional agility on a much lesser scale, and that despite their having said that they’re less familiar with these forms.)
@Sandra:
There are other games, predating Skyrim, that allow you to pickpocket someone’s heart. Final Fantasy Tactics allows thief types to steal an opponent’s heart, charming them. And in at least some of the Disgaea games rogues can steal “a kiss”, stealing their heart, which is just one possible way to steal a stat. Anyway, there are some things in games way creepier.
On a more related note: Whatever happened to that crystal/energy sword The Lady had specially made? I guess that wasn’t a physical sword, though. I’d like to see her use it again.
…when someone says you can steal a heart in Skyrim, they mean you can LITERALLY steal their heart.
You mean ripping the heart out of the chest ?
I guess that’s what inspired this Zelda joke, then ? xD
