The last few pages contained dialogue-driven scenes that were hard to split up… hence the lengthier, though less frequent, updates.

Pace will pick up now as we approach the end of the chapter.

Anyone here use Goodreads? It’s a pretty cool way of discovering new reading material. I just joined and am gradually finding my way around…
