In terms of figuring out the motives of Mr. P and Mr. Wang, we still don’t have a whole lot to go on – except that Mr. Wang seems anxious to get rid of them.
In Rona’s shoes, I’d probably make it clear they’re not interested in money, but they do want assurances that Meeka will be in good hands. As in, needing a few questions answered. Or maybe even a word with the enigmatic Mr. P himself.
I think it’d be cool to see Rona involved in a group that helps supernatural/otherworldly victims, like Meeka (as opposed to going it alone). That, and/or learn how to travel to other realms physically. And The Lady does have to TRAIN Rona sooner or later if she wants her to be her successor. Sooner being better, because we see how often they end up in deep trouble.

They do seem to end up in trouble frequently, don’t they. You’d almost think the Lady were encouraging it.
