I do like the statues in the background. Nice touch! I especially like the fairy. Queen Titania, perhaps? Kind of fitting I guess. (Though, those wings look rather delicate. Must be metal.)
Anyway, I wonder what type of beings these pointy-eared guys call themselves.
I went through the four last pages, paying close attention to the dialog and the comments, and all I found was “Nemsiiki”, if that is what you are implying the “type of beings” these two are.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but: What I’ve read seemed to imply that the Nemsiiki is an “order”, much like a monk society, with “the Way” sort of akin to a meditative and martial arts style. The Lady founded this order eons, millennia… or at least a long time ago. What I was referring to was the -species- of these beings.
BTW: On an earlier page someone suggested that The Lady wouldn’t let “her host” die so easily. Actually, The Lady has contemplated suicide as a way to escape this “reality prison”. Since she can’t even project while Jen sleeps, it really is a prison now, from her point of view.
Anyway, others have pointed out how Jen and The Lady are more like two sides of the same coin. Or rather, it’s like Jen being merely an aspect or shadow of The Lady that she created as a buffer to experience the physical realm. To say The Lady is “using” Jen as a “host” would imply that she is possessing Jen like a ghost. But, despite what some characters believe(d), that seems -highly- inaccurate.
Nice to know the “CIA” can get hurt by mundane means “Natives and their clumsy travel contraptions.” It would have kinda sucked if they had immunity to non-magic weapons and such.

It says what they are two comics back. Go take a look.
I take it no one believes they’re just regular CIA agents, then?
Are you implying that CIA hires non-americans on a regular basis?
I guess that makes sense, with them beuing a spy organization and all.

“Correct me if Iām wrong”
Everything you just said is either right on the money, or a fair interpretation/assumption based on what’s been established/revealed thus far.

Good looking page!
Thanks, Sean! Unfortunately, it’s Przemyslaw’s last for now. š
On the bright side, I am pretty excited about the work of Jorge, our new artist. For anyone curious, check out the TWC vote incentive preview…
