The Realm in the Middle, Pg 67-68
Thanks for reading The Realm in the Middle.
In our next tale, The Disappeared, a psychic channeler, possessed by spirits of extinct animals, is pursued by a group of militant ghost-hunters who view him as a menace to society… unaware that another, perhaps far greater, paranormal threat happens to be in their midst – the ethereal death-dealer known as the Nameless Lady in the Hood. A deadly game of cat-and-mouse ensues… but who’s hunting whom?
The Disappeared is available as an ebook for Kindle, as well as in PDF and CBZ formats as part of the collected volume, Demon Corridor.
Interesting New character, and the ghost turning up as well ..
We’ve seen Eleanor before. She said my favorite line in the series, even.

“…this godforsaken neighborhood. And before you start lecturing, I *ain’t* using His name in vain.”
Hahaha! Excellent! A terrific conclusion, I must say.
Another lost-my-body gonna-be-takin’-over-this-one-now deal? Well, though it’s been used before, here, I’m excited. This certainly doesn’t look like a dream to me. I wonder how this will play out, in the long run.
Thanks again, Mr.Chen!
That ghost… that’s the guy the Lady killed, that ended up with his head getting chopped off, isn’t it? I just realized. What’s he doing in Rona’s body? I thought Eleanor was going to take care of him. Surely SHE wouldn’t attach him to a living person… would she?
Eleanor Rigby… Any relation to the Beatles song?
Mari… Eleanor is not the only character in Twilight Lady named after a character in a song.
Albert… yes, that’s Jason’s reflection in the mirror.
As for whether this is a case of full mental/bodily possession… that will be made clear in due time.
Eleanor did say, “You always gotta be careful what you bring back”.
I’m thinking that maybe she brought Jason back. But if that is the case, where is his “crew”? Eleanor told them that they would always be together from now on….
Merowr?
>^..^<
Oh, some evil foreshadowing here…..
Just someone else living in it? but she has no way of knowing I guess. Where does she go when she is unconscious or sleeping does she dream of the Twilight Lady?
Elenor Rigby, Father McKenzie, we’ve got a reference to John Lennon… anyone named “Paul”? Plus the Beatles first played in the Cavern Club, which oddly enough looks like Subrealm’s version of Catacomb.
All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
