the lady created Jen?. why would she do that, Jen is in many ways a prison for the lady. Possibly to absorb essence? but there must be easier ways than subuming yourself in another soul/personality (still not sure which) for 16 hours each day.
Unless she’s lying out her teeth. She also told Rona how she was trapped in Jen, after she was exercised by Jen’s…mother…wait, does that mean she caused Jen to be born, and THEN was imprisoned in her against her will?
Actually, I think she means Jen’s PERSONALITY was created by her. JEN, the physical body, is very much her prison. As you can see, until recently, this has been a very effective disguise.
She’s a soul. She got trapped in Senserealm, but everything here is a physical extension of soul. Our bodies, minds, sense of “self,” it’s all an extension of our eternal bits that manifest to interact with physicality. The thing is, physicality is a trap for soul. You get distracted by the events of life, and think that’s all that matters. In truth, we are eternal, and these intermittent forays into physicality are just brief interludes. Like dreams our souls dream.
Everything physical is an analog to something spiritual, I’ve heard. The physical being is a reflection of the true being. Physical life is another dimension to one’s existence, perhaps… that’s why I say death strips away layers of the self.
“Whatever…” that reminds me of my spoilt niece 😉
maybe the lady needed to lay-low for a while, so subjected herself to the prison of Jen’s body.
or, is the lady the Creator? I don’t remember the drunken Angel meeting the Lady yet, but do remember the angel refering to God as ‘she’. if this line of thinking is correct, then God/Creator/Lady is not infallible as she was beaten by the huntress….albeit she was in a weakened state.

What you create can control you sometimes. And it’s certainly possible to create your own prison.

but then, why would God imprison herself for a period? Hindu myth is full of God’s who get born as mortals, or super mortals, for some reason or the other: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avatar#Avatars_of_Vishnu
