Rona is adopting more and more traits from her higher being of a mentor, except she’s not dark like said mentor. Maybe in a distant future we’ll see Rona ascend as a higher being herself. π
what happened with noblay? last we saw it had a tendril in each of them and it dosent strike me as the type of being to just stop that even if it was kiko who started it…. did it just let go when kiko was sevard from it?
Marionet : did not spell the same as well : Ashly and Ashlee. :p
The cloths were not the same either, check with the pages were Ashly got sliced by were-rat Franc.
“does this mean that that the wererat ashlee isnβt the same ashly here?”
Before the speculation gets out of hand… there is only one Ashly. And to further clarify, the voice heard saying “Ashleee” is the same voice that’s saying “Ashly” in the following panel.
And the clothes on that female were-rat were meant to look just like Ashly’s clothes… at least that was the intention.
Black : The were-rat was wearing one-colored brown dress. Ashly when she got slashed was wearing a black dress with brown border lines. I don’t think we can consider these same clothes, can we ? :p
e.e : in those lore, were-beings are normal human beings cursed with lycanthropia. Franc here is a rodent spirit housed into a human shell, that’s entirely different. π
Paradosa : that’s a possibility. Truth is, the female were-rat panel is still not clear to me, i’m eleminating flawed theories but yet building none new which is frustrating… π
I presumed (although I am uncertain due to what our dear author has said and hinted at) that the “Ashlee” from the previous page was Rona’s voice crossing panels, it’s not unlike our artist to do that as demonstrated on this very page, it just makes more sense here. But alas something that was said has me doubting this assumption, and you know what they say about assuming something, you just make an ass out of u and me.
Lycanthropy applies to any curse-based wereanimal transformation. Simply, werewolves cover 99.9% of them. The only reason why we can say Franc’s case is not Lycanthropy is that we’re dealing with a normal beast spirit (rodent spirit here) inhabiting a normal human shell. We’ve seen before what kind of effects that triggers : remember Lee’s sabertooth transforms ?

Well, the Lady DID kill it.

She’s ALIVE
*Thunder cracks
Also: I wonder if we will see even deeper meaning in the garmets she wore last pg.

well in most lore of were beings if you get clawed, bit or other wise hurt by teeth or nails you become one also dont you??
oops, fogot to say we saw kiko seavered we didnt see noblay killed… much like when the lady severed the un-willing bits of noblay before..

Oh, so wererat Ashly was just dream/vision caused by indwellers, just like Rona had a while ago.
Paradosa : that’s a possibility. Truth is, the female were-rat panel is still not clear to me, i’m eleminating flawed theories but yet building none new which is frustrating… π
Paradosa: Yes, I think that’s the theory that makes the most sense to me too at this point.

@ Darth Killer
i spelled it differently because i spelled how they were in the comic and it’s still not lycanthropy (that only applies to werewolves)
@ blake JK chen
thanks for clarifying
oh wait, I just reiterated something that was said, ignore me~ new reader and all…hi ^-~”

And welcome, Kishi-keahi. π
no lycanthropy is only werewolves nothing else, therianthropy is what applies to any other wereanimals
@Marionet: You are right, I too thought that lycanthropy was a collective name for all cursed wereanimals so I searched Wikipedia and found these articles
Lycanthropy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lycanthropy
and Therianthropy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Therianthropy
and now we know ;P
