This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a head come away from the body in ghost form. The last time, it was Saral Caine, and we all know HE’S ok.
Not sure how far Kiko was assimilated by Nobleay. As for Rona, her heart’s in the right place, but her head is not. Remember, we’re not just talking about Kiko’s fate here, but the fate of all those people standing around, including the oracle who is bleeding to death nearby.
uhl : you forgot about the Huntress, whose head got choped off too. And in her case, her troll nature healed her quickly, forcing her to be a lonely head. She only died thanks to the Lady’s Death Touch.
Tough that combined with Rona’s thoughts when dismembered mean one thing : “normal” human souls once in pieces enevtually die, it simply needs time to gradually weaken them. That’s why the Lady said it would be painful.
