the lady is worried about her safety?!!? looks like ‘mindspace’ can hurt her.
‘no mind is ever free…while it exists withing senserealm’
Cogito ergo sum. so, the mind is an entity of its own, but trapped in a body. and in Fang’s case, the mind can actualy change the body. BUT the Sabre tiger mind seems to need a Sabre tiger body, so it’s still not free of the body. and in Fang’s wife’s case (her name?), the mind…loses its mind without a body? and the Lady is still attached to some some of body…physically attached to Jen, and her astral projection has it’s own ‘body’…or is it merely an appearance…at the least, it’s something that her mind is attached to.
now, emotions are apparently linked to hormones…remove the body(+hormones) and you’re free of emotions. The Lady does seem disppassionate about what she’s doing. Now, Fang’s wife…VERY emotional!!!! does she get her dose of hormones from Fang?
and the various animals living (trapped?) in Fang….
anyway got to work! I LOVE it when a single frame/sentence sends me off on a tangent…it happens very often with this story:-)
Her best novel in the Vampire Lestat series! it’s about how Lestat’s vampire body gets stolen and Lestat has to use a living human body while he plots revenge….eating/shitting/eFFing(sex)/ watching the sunrise are suddenly new experiences after 100’s of years ๐
Hmmm, looks like there are things that even the Lady is afraid of. Poor Fang, being messed with by his dead wife & God knows what else, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. Still, I love this comic. I can’t wait to see what’ll happen next!
It’s possible the Lady is worried for Rona’s safety, no her own. It’s also possible she has an alterior motive for fleeing. Also, what exactly -is- that thing? I was expecting a T-rex or something as the “big friend,” but…
Mind/body swaps both int the supernatural and science fiction ways of doing things have been in fiction for awhile. Not even counting possession which is the oldest of stories.

Oh, also, what’s Sam Hill?
I have to wonder. Was this entire interlude for Rona’s benefit?

I should just put a permanent wiki link in the menu bar. ๐
Heheh, most people don’t like Wiki(for obvious, and somehwt valid reasons) but I find it generally useful.
