That doesn’t sound like wisdom to me. Just like the basic “no, please, don’t hurt me” reaction that causes people to get on their knees for the man with the gun even when they know he’s going to kill them. Perhaps you call that cowardice.
its not wisdom you say? maybe its accepting a fact that you are knowing the body may meet the end but your soul is still claiming through your body link its existance and because of that you dont fear, you express what you feel.
He sure is a lot smarter than he looks. Although the correct answer to “what more could they do to you” would probably be “I don’t want to find out.”
