Ah, the choice is offered. Is it better to live wondering forever if you could have won? Or, is it better to die now knowing you were not a worthy foe? Chose wisely, young one. The Lady offers you the choice she was never offered. This is great work, another peek into The Lady’s soul.
Tryna – did I miss something? Your sentence about “The Lady offers you the choice she was never offered.” isn’t bringing anything to mind from the story so far. It more sounds like a reapplication/paraphrase of one of the more infamous lines from “Interview with a vampire”.
Trinten,
Was The Lady given the choice to exist in the body of a human girl trapped until the girl slept? No I do not think so. She was not given the choice of that ‘life’. She gives the child the choice. When the next page is read I ask how far wrong am I?
And therein lies the crux of the problem. The lady has correctly identified the fatal flaw of her defeated foes. They were drowning in denial.

I bet “Junior” here is gonna chicken out!
I thought she might give this one a chance…

She’s indirectly bound to the Senserealm by Jen is her problem.
