Nemesis of Decay (Prologue), Pg 2A
Rona’s encounter with her father’s ghost took place in a previous Twilight Lady tale, The Realm in the Middle.
The Realm in the Middle is available as a downloadable digital comic for Kindle, Nook, and iPad, as well as in PDF and CBZ formats as part of the collected volume, Demon Corridor.
Is it like the Matrix, their bodies in Senserealm flop over and die? I always suspected that the truth is a meandering stream that forks and rejoins 😉
did i jst miss tuesday’s update or was it not posted?
There was no update on Tuesday.
If they’re in Subrealm via Astral projection, current research says yes, xcal. If they’re in subrealm as a result of death in Senserealm, Senserealm is no longer a concern unless they get “reincarnated” there like the trap that Belham set some time ago. As for dying demons in Subrealm, I remind you what happened to the guy that kissed “the lady” as his last wish.
The Lady: “It will take an age for him to be able to ascend again.”
Demon with the Axe: “I will wait.”
So while the “Lady” may not know (or tell) EXACTLY where they go, she knows they can come back, after gathering their energy for a while.
Apologies if I’ve asked this before — is there a page somewhere that describes your process/tools for creating the artwork? Your style seems to hover somewhere between traditional, rotoscoped, computer-assisted… It certainly works, but as an ignoramus in that area I’d be interested in knowing more about how your interaction with the tools, or if it’s all just you.
Ahhh – the 1 mil bucks question – will be waiting for TL’s answer ^^
Xcal: My thoughts on this have always been that death strips away layers of the self. Much like Crowley’s abyss. When they die in senserealm, it simply removes their manifestation in senserealm and their ability to interact with that mode of existence; the physical form is just a shell one puts on. But senserealm doesn’t work like the rest of reality… outside there, death would result in a loss of an order of consciousness. As the axe man said “He had always talked about spending some time in a lower form. Just for kicks.”
That’s my best guess, anyway. Let’s see what the Lady says.
“Apologies if I’ve asked this before — is there a page somewhere that describes your process/tools for creating the artwork?”
At the moment, no. I’d put one together if there was enough demand, but it will take a fair amount of time… time which would be otherwise spent working on the comic.
And, to be perfectly honest, I’d much rather be working on the comic. 🙂
