Apparently, having one’s souls sliced and diced and then put back together is a hard thing to deal with. I wonder what Rona feels she needs to do to get her mind in order again.
Oh…ohhhkayy..wasn’t expecting that. Or is Rona, by now, too attached to the “death-realm” she has been in for so long, that she fears adapting to the “real-world” again?
So if Rona’s body has no soul in it, is it still alive? I don’t think I would want to run around in zombie form and let my body decay on some crazy woman’s floor.
Her soul has been away from her body before. OOBEs do not necessarily mean body or brain deaths. The brain will keep life functions going, just like sleeping. She’s just more prone to possession with “no one home.”
Ano : rest assured, her body will not die. Like when Rona went off body several times before, her body remains alive but as an empty shell, while her spirit can go away. She simply can’t come back easily unless helped by the Lady or after learning much more of subrealm, wich should now be the case. 😉
So in the end it was not a death blow. The Lady mearly has purged Jason out of there.
Or perhaps Jason did that himself? He seems to have learned a few things, doesn’t he…

“Not ready” — I wonder if that means a task remaining that Rona’s own body isn’t suitable for, or should’t be risked for… We’ll find out shortly.

Or is Rona thinking of pursuing Jason wherever he is first ? Some payback maybe ?

I’m thinking that Rona just needs a little time to adjust. Who knows how long she spent in that trunk, in pieces, in subjective time?
