hmm, I was initially surprised by Rona’s vehemence and violence but just realized that she has been terribly scarred! I can only think of her experience as a rape of her soul.
That’s quite the new experience for Jason ,meeting someone that’s more ruthless than he counted on, I guess. “Nothing to lose” apparently also goed for Rona as far as she’s concerned.
Rona is,indeed, so scarred that she’d rather cut-up her own body than let a piece of vermin like Jason control it. Rather sad, but very understandable. I was also very shocked when Rona got “taken” by jason, especially the way how.
I think Jase missed the point that a hostage does you no good unless people believe you will _return_ the hostage.
Rona really does not have a lot to lose — it’s not like she plans to keep the corpse, and it’s not as if Jason can be trusted to end the possession later. And given her recent experiences, Rona’s got to be a lot less scared about the afterlife — unlike Jason, she’s shown she can deal with subrealm and she knows at least one path toward reincarnation.
It’s my body
It’s not my body
But it used to be my body
But it’s not actually my body
But it is…
Red-eyed lady in a hood by the shadows
Who watches over you.
Make a little birdhouse in your soul!
It’s not suicide if your soul’s not in it.
Don’t worry, it’ll only take a minute.
Make a little birdhouse in your soul!

Yet I still hope this is but a bluff. Or that the others will arrive in time.

My my my. I wonder if this counts as a form of suicide.
Not that anybody’s counting. 😉

Albert : i’d rather call it self sacrifice than suicide. 😉
@Rhov, good one. 😀
Am I the only one who sees the wrinkled and decayed hands reaching for the doctor?
Amox: Noticed. Not speculating.
BTW, that overhand knife grip is incredibly amateurish. But it looks good on the page.
@ Technogeek:
Maybe that’s the only way she can hold it while controlling a stiff, rotten corpse-body. And, you know, it definitely looks dramatic.
