Hm. So they’ve caught Eleanor’s eye… (at least, so I presume).
I’m still looking forward to finding out more about her.
One thing I like about this strip is the ambiguities. Nobody — not even the Lady — claims to have all the answers. There are very large areas where we mostly know that we don’t know… but where we are pretty confident that Blake *does* know and will eventually tell us.
I’m wondering… Is the larger story arc planned out, or are the characters still leading the author?
Blake: Thanks for the confirmation. The language choice, and the bottle, had me fairly convinced, but I wasn’t sure. Hadn’t picked up how the oath connected; that does make some sense. As I said, I’m still looking forward to eventually finding out what Maggie is — and yes, I mean what, not who. I’m sure you’ve given us hints, but not enough that I’ve been able to connect them.
And since “I like that and want more” is one of the better complements an author can get… (Well, that and money, right?)
Well, well, this is an intersting easter egg in the flash back. Also, is this the first time that the “angle” gets the trio’s sent?
And on a slightly unrelated note, it’s kinda funny that they are now of one body, if not quite one mind.
And here I was thinking he ripped out the vein with his teeth, ouch.

Is it Maggie?
“I’m wondering… Is the larger story arc planned out, or are the characters still leading the author?”
Both. And on the occasion of a conflict, the characters will usually have veto power.
“Is it Maggie?”
Good guess, but no. It’s somebody you’ve yet to meet. And who you will want to meet.
Rona’s mother?
:O
Damn… you’re good.
You just did the family resemblance very well, is all.
Guess that wasn’t an April’s fool thing, after all. Who knows? The Albert knows!!
how can you see family resemblance when all we can see is an overcoat and some kind of bottle?
We’re talking about the person shown in the vote incentive preview.
As for who that is in the last panel:
