Man, I completely lost the plot of the story. Had no idea what was happening nor why. I had to go back and reread it from page one. Great stuff! All those little side threads and different people with different agendas. It all makes sense now – except for all the unresolved questions!
if only you stuck the knife a little bit more to the right,
then we’d have some more creative imagination going on here 😀
unless it’s supposed to be above the belly button 0.o ??? 😛
chaos: Rona is possessed by a ghost, by the name of Jason.
As Jason seems to figure rather prominently in this volume (cf. http://www.twilightlady.com/2010/02/28/nemesis-of-decay/ — he’s on the cover), I’ve taken the liberty of compiling a little chronology detailing his involvement in the story.
Jason has been involved with the Lady since the beginning of her stay in Senserealm; chronologically, we first see him and his gang ten years ago, where they trigger what seems to be the Lady’s first appearance in Jen’s body. (cf. http://www.twilightlady.com/2010/03/04/nemesis-of-decay-pg-1a/ through 6b — Jason is the one with the wood-grain pants.)
Although looking through the archive for that made me wonder about that mysterious leprechaun again. It’s really his fault Rona has been out of body long enough for all of this to happen, isn’t it… hmm…
Uh oh. Man just realized Rona ain’t home. Really bad time to be naked, dude.

I love it!
:O
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON
I’ll be glad to clear anything up for you. Exactly what are you confused about?

Wellll… clearly you didn’t need me to do that!

He’s also been in this comic since the very first strip; cf. http://www.twilightlady.com/2008/03/17/the-secret-of-cass-corridor-pg-1-3/ — panel 6, wearing a blue shirt. In the next page after that (last panel), Rona and Jen encountered him on the street, which culminated in his death and Rona’s first encounter with the Lady (p. 19). He continues to show up every few strips in the first volume (eg. in http://www.twilightlady.com/2008/03/30/the-secret-of-cass-corridor-pg-41-42/ through p. 49), and shortly meets the Lady again, who then takes him to Subrealm to reunite with his gang (cf. http://www.twilightlady.com/2008/04/04/the-secret-of-cass-corridor-pg-56-58/ through p. 73). This culminates with Eleanor taking charge of the situation at the close of the volume (cf. http://www.twilightlady.com/2008/04/14/the-secret-of-cass-corridor-pg-84-86/ ).
Eleanor put her plan into motion at the end of volume 2, when she put Jason into Rona’s body (cf. http://www.twilightlady.com/2008/05/25/the-realm-in-the-middle-pg-67-68/ ). Rona has no memory of this, and for a while we didn’t see anything of Jason. However, with Rona’s extended stay in Subrealm, Jason has managed to creep back into the story (cf. http://www.twilightlady.com/2008/12/29/symphony-in-the-key-of-oblivion-pg-22a/ through 22b ) and is now doing Eleanor’s bidding ( http://www.twilightlady.com/2009/03/05/symphony-in-the-key-of-oblivion-pg-35a/ through 35b and http://www.twilightlady.com/2010/02/04/nemesis-of-decay-prologue-pg-1a/ through 1b ).
Vlad’s been aware of the situation for a while now, though. (cf. http://www.twilightlady.com/2009/08/30/imprisoned-lightning-pg-1b/ through 2a ) Unless I miss my guess, that spy we saw a few panels ago was one of his “children”.
Hopefully this will be of help. This is all just from what I remember, though; if I missed anything important, please let me know.
Thanks, Albert.
Glad to be of help, Mr. Chen.
