Nemesis of Decay
Are gods righteous?
Are they morally flawless, endlessly benevolent beings, as many who worship believe?
Perhaps those we look upon as gods… or angels… or demons… are merely entities from other realms that have discovered a window into this world, and a means of influencing its events. Perhaps they possess similar foibles… along with the same limitless capacity for good and evil… as the creatures that exist here.
What if such an entity… one of a murderous, and rather misanthropic nature… was, for a time, forced to walk among mortals as one of us?
Would she gain stronger empathy for our strife?
Or would her scorn… and thirst for bloodshed… merely increase?
Twilight Lady: Nemesis of Decay is available as a downloadable digital comic for Kindle and other formats.

ooh, now that’s rather ghastly. “The lady” must be visiting those “hunters” again.
In many ways, what defines something isn’t what it is so much as what it isn’t… we see gods, demons, angels as having not merely powers, but limitations as well.
Also, the Lady has her pentagrams back.
Obviously increase…from a humanitarian viewpoint.
I mean the scorn and bloodshed part…sorry, too fast on the submit button.
It looks like she’s holding a harmonica
definitely someone using Jen to control the lady
What makes you say that, Arakhan?
And this one wins the award for the creepiest cover page yet
Lovecraft (and his theories) rule! (from beyond the starts)
I do not believe in gods, however, I believe this to be a good fairytale.
Worth observing that the last time The Lady wore pentagrams, she was of a much more unpleasant mindset. The bot of humbling at Belahm’s hands knocked into…not necessarily a more pleasant, but a *humbler* one.
And here we see her in more of her ‘destroyer’ persona again (Or Angel of Death as the storyline and us fans so often put it), wearing pentagrams once more.
My question, though, is what does the imagery mean? Jason I don’t care much about, but why the harmonica in her hand? And why the dead-looking girl in the background? Maggie? or Jen? Or someone we’ve yet to meet or know of?
The beauty is I’m not at the end of the archives yet, so I can keep reading and find out. Glee!
Hm. I just realized what the blue object on the ground was. I didn’t recognize the shape until the story started approaching this scene.
