I guess it’s too late to apologize now, isn’t it Belahm?
I wonder why the Lady gave up being a Neisikki(?) warrior unless she was attracting too many challengers?
According to her last statement on the matter, she gave up being one (despite having founded the order) because its name was usurped, twisted and corrupted. Rather than spend the endless effort to correct that, she abandoned the whole order just like she abandoned her own name.

Probably when her arm was cut off, the sword fell to the floor and then the blood spurted on it. That’s my best guess, anyway… any CSIs in the audience?
“If you work at that which is before you, following right reason seriously, vigorously, calmly, without allowing anything else to distract you, but keeping your divine part pure, as if you were bound to give it back immediately; if you hold to this, expecting nothing, but satisfied to live now according to nature, speaking heroic truth in every word which you utter, you will live happy. And there is no man able to prevent this.” — Marcus Aurelius, Stoic

Dear dear, our beloved witch queen has regressed to the “creepy child” stage. I’d like to know what she just did to herself.

Regressed? I don’t think so, outside of releasing her controls on herself. I’d take the “pretty please” as a way to emphasize “I really mean it.”
… Am I seeing things, or is that Belahm’s blood on her own sword?

I’d recommend taking a look at page 21 in its entirety. It should be fairly obvious… unless I’m off my visual storytelling game this week.
Love that. “Pretty Please”. From Shounen-graphic-novel-style moment to whiplash-inducing something out of a scary fairy tale.
“Witch-queen” indeed.
