ooooh, this is what the Z has been fearing all along! are Rona’s eyes rolling back?
and this raises an interesting question! is “guilt” a product of our body(hormones, etc)? It seems to be a feeling, an emotion, and these are thought to be controlled by our hormones. Should the nature of guilt place it under the ‘control’ of the spirit/soul?
that raises another question: in this realm: does the body still control things? It does seem to be so: Perse is clearly affected by the assault on her/his body; Rona feels various emotions etc. BUT is the body-effect affected by the body? Perse took on the body of a Man, so does HE still feel the traditional ‘female’ emotions? Perse is now something else: how does this body affect her(?) mentality?
Guilt is not about hormones, it’s a feeling.
In this realm bodies do not exist, what we see are merely representations of their minds. Perse is a man stuck in a womans body, she feels like a man anyway…
I think the damage done in this realm, does not affect your phisical body, but can crush your mind/soul.
The way I see it… everything that happens in the physical is a reflection, an analog of what happens in the spiritual. The hormones that are released in the event of an emotion, and other such things, are only the body’s way of acting upon what has already taken place in the spirit. But I guess that’s just one way of looking at it. (Of course, this viewpoint makes one wonder why brain damage affects one’s personality… I would say the answer to that is that the brain is the anchor for the soul in the realm of the physical, and that when it is damaged, part of the soul is no longer represented in and able to interact with the physical world. But again, that’s just theory.)
The way I see it, Lady just knocked her out so that she’d be blamed by Rona rather than Rona being blamed by Rona. Having a friend mad at you is easier to fix than a friend mad at herself.
@albert: very interesting. Do you have any thoughts of linking evolution into your theory? As humans evolve, the linkages to our spirit gets better…or possibly worse 😉
@ganurath: yeah, it’s better to ask forgiveness of friends than permission 😉
xcal: Consider reincarnation. The spirit grows with each form it passes through… as the spirit gains awareness, a more sophisticated form is required to hold it. Thus you can say that our physical evolution is tied to our spiritual evolution… or perhaps to the needs of the spirits using this species. 😛 They say that we choose the time and place of our birth, after all (or that it is chosen for us) that we might have the life most appropriate for our current level of development. And they say that some people’s past lives are in the future.

curiouser and curiouser!
xcal is asking some quaint questions there, indeed.
Perse has already hinted at having a bixsexual nature very early in her first meetings with Rona.
It’s the mind that controls the astral plane, when two opposing forces meet, the one with the greater willpower will overcome the other.
@xcal:
I believe it’s more simple than that…

But thats only my opinion… hehehe
