Are the Cass Corridor muders still going on? Or have I missed something? And were the deaths that Fang was responsible for blamed on the same killer? I know we know better, but I was just thinking about the Detroit police and what their perception would be to all this. It is neat to see the events from this point of view, it is an excellent story. But it makes me wonder about how the people in the story, the locals and the cops, who do not know what is really going on, I wonder how they see the situation.
I also wanted to compliment you on the backgrounds again, very realistic, they fit well with the foreground images. Looks great!
Dypak, I get the impression that Fang doesn’t live in Cass Corridor and the killings would have had a different MO. The Cass Killer was definitely human but Fang’s killings would look like someone had been mauled by a wild animal (police probably questioned zoos to see if any of their exhibits escaped).
So… the Lady’s touch has somehow weakened Rona’s link to her body?
As far as Fang goes, I think only those “crackpots” knew that there was a human involved in those killings. Unless the pattern was so obvious that there couldn’t be any doubt Fang was at the center. But it wasn’t in Cass Corridor, regardless, unless I’m quite mistaken – they had to drive for a while to get to where he was, and the architecture there was different anyway. (I think the architecture was different. Was that something you were trying for, Mr. Chen?)
Yeah, though the location was never specified, it was intended to be away from Cass Corridor, hence the road trip Jen, Rona, and Zorro take at the beginning of the story.
A. Pretty sure these dizzy spells are because Jason is possessing her(possibly because of Elanor, possibly as an accident of her trip with the Lady)
B.It’s my impression that the lady’s victims simply -die-. If that’s the case, then I think the evidence would point to a decidely non-human perpetaror. Of course, I doubt the police would go with that angle, heh.
C. Zorra sure gave into Rona’s Guilt-trip pretty easily. I would think he’d be more apprehensive about going to Catacomb, given its inhabitants and his abilities.
D. If the alphabet is often shortened to the letters “A,B,C” why is it not called the Alphbetagamm? After all, why name the alphabet after only the first two letters of the greek alphabet (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon, etc.) Yes, I realize this has nothing to do with the comic. I just find it an interesting topic of conversation. Yes, I am boring, why do you ask?
The backgrounds on these day-light, outdoors scenes are incredibly detailed. Awesome job!
I am reading this comic like a kid who just got her first comic in weeks and is hiding under the cover with a flash light so that she can keep reading even after mom & dad say “Lights out!”. LOL
I’m totally engrossed in the story, the characters, and the artwork.
This is definitely earning it’s spot in my top five webcomics (top 10 all time comics, including “real” comics- paper ones >.^..^<

I managed to completely forget Rona had Jason tagging along. Shame on me.

I love the look that he gives Rona in the 3rd panel. It’s so endearing.
