The Indwellers
No longer able to astral project… to separate herself from her body prison, even temporarily. What now for our Lady?
The beginning of “The Indwellers”, a brand new story arc, finds she who (used to) haunt the dark in the depths of depression. What will jolt her out of it?
The answer… a mission, of sorts. One instigated by a familiar face who, sensing the type of situation needed to galvanize her friend, introduces the Lady to a young soul looking to avenge a death. And when matters of the blood are involved, the Nameless One invariably finds herself drawn in…
Illustrated by the new art team of Przemyslaw R. Dedelis (pencils) and Sean Burres (colors), “The Indwellers” sees the realities of Subrealm and Senserealm interact and collide in a way not witnessed before in this series. If you thought you knew the rules… well, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
that looks amazing!
Yes, it does!
Looking forward to the plot arc.
Still reserving judgement on the artwork. I can certainly see the attraction of collaborating from both time and cross-inspiration points of view, and pencils do give more freedom (and may or may not be faster, depending on the artist)… but then again, I liked the feel of what we had, and sometimes constraints themselves can be a spur to creativity.
I must say I do like the art – it’s quite a drastic change but nevertheless very evocative, and I’m particularly fond of the colouring. I continue to look forward to the story!! 🙂
hmm, interesting artwork. I just saw my first page of the new chapter (3a, busy going through archives now). dunno. It seems a bit mainstream comicky 🙂 and may have lost the darkness that was felt even in broad daylight. that’s only a first impression. I like it, for SURE, and it will grow on me. does it fit the context of the Twilight Lady?
