I suspect that the master now suspects his pupil, particularly after re-reading those in light of the previous page (http://www.twilightlady.com/2013/12/16/the-way-of-the-ghost-pg-79/) and the comments of both pupil and the captured demon – and the timing of the demon’s demise, before the potential “big reveal”…
