Thanks for all the descriptions of Twilight Lady so far. I thought they were well-written and insightful. It’s always interesting to read somebody else’s point of view regarding this series.

I gather that the 1910 Vauxhaul and the Bugatti Veyron are cars, but I really don’t grasp the reference. Granted that our lovable bartender is a 400 year old vampire, but wouldn’t comparing an Orville and Wilbur biplane vs an F-16 make more of an impact? Or would that be a bit too stilted an analogy?
well, if you had said an F-15, F-14, or F-18, I’d be in pure agreement.
you can throw in the F-22, F-35, or even the A-10 into the comparison, but the Wright flyer with a couple machine pistols would take out the piece of junk called an F-16.

Guys, please, don’t forget that a weapon or tool’s greatest flaw is always the user. A slingshot master can easily beat an average gunslinger. And that’s where the Lady has a shot on Lingen. Now, she may not get out of it without “loosing some feathers” as we’d say in french… 🙂
Guns are pretty much useless against an expert wielding a katana.
The comparision only works if you stay to similar weapons, fate. Guns and slingshots being both ranged weapons, for instance. 😉
