Who doesn’t have unfinished business when they die? Why should some people get to hang around after they’re dead to get closure. I’ve just never gotten this aspect of ghost stories

Anonymous: It’s not a question of “getting to”. The question is whether, when you die, you’re able to realize how petty and pointless all of life’s cares and troubles are. When faced with the truth and beauty of the entire cosmos, for most people it’s not hard. The ones whose attachment to this world, whose need for this world, is too strong for them to be able to let go… they’re the ones who are stuck behind.
“Stuck” being the operative word.
