He was seeking someone who could beat him. He found her. She was not seeking anything but was practicing her craft in the place she found herself. I love how this plays out.
Officer Crumky says to Jen: Would you like to explain why we found your finger prints on the hilt of a sword stuck in a mans chest?
To be fair, she probably has the bruises and minor cuts to make a fairly strong self-defense case, even if she doesn’t remember stabbing him.
